On June 17, Guilin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received the Approval Letter of Supplementary Application of metronidazole tablets issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA): the drug passed generics consistency evaluation. Allegedly, metronidazole tablets manufactured by only 7 pharmaceutical companies in China, including Guilin Pharma, have passed the consistency evaluation.

The product passing the generics consistency evaluation represents the recognition of the NMPA for the comprehensive strength of the Company's R&D capability, manufacturing and quality management system. As per the relevant national policies, drugs that have passed the consistency evaluation will receive more support in medical insurance payment and medical institution procurement, which will be conducive to expanding the market share of these drugs and enhancing their market competitiveness.
